Basic Needs Volunteers

Basic needs are defined as things that we must have in order to live. This includes food and shelter, and much more. Recognizing that our students cannot thrive when they may be worried about basic necessities, this section identifies resources across the community, where a broad array of services and supports can be found. A modern family has increased needs over and above food and shelter, including effective communication and access to technology.

These supports may include:

  • Food pantry listings
  • Clothing resources
  • Financial support resources
  • Case management supports
  • Technology supports
