Manchester School District Extended Learning Opportunities

The ELO (Extended Learning Opportunity) Program in the Manchester School District provides opportunities for students to explore and receive credit for extended learning activities outside the traditional classroom, including, but not limited to internships, community service, independent study, private instruction, work-based learning, and various other activities.

The granting of credit shall be based on a student’s demonstration of course competencies, as approved by certified personnel. Throughout their ELO, students will reflect on their learning process, personal goals, acquisition of skills, and work ethic.

We feel so blessed! Raising our grandsons is wonderful, but they cost an arm and a leg. It has been so helpful to receive financial aid to send them to the Club. We are so grateful.

My daughter loves it here [at the Boys & Girls Club of Manchester]. I literally wouldn’t have an income [and be able to work] if it wasn’t for you. Thank you so much for all you do!
